#4. Trayce Jackson-Davis did not look 100%, please stay healthy
This game made me very nervous about the health of Trayce Jackson-Davis. After sitting out Wednesday’s game against Little Rock, Jackson-Davis returned to the starting lineup and just did not look like himself in his 19 minutes of action.
TJD registered just 11 points and 5 rebounds on 4-for-5 from the field. While it isn’t a terrible game in just 19 minutes, Jackson-Davis looked to be in a lot of lower back pain, icing it on the bench in between his minutes and wincing up and down the floor.
One particular play for me that stood out was a pretty good lob pass from Jalen Hood-Schifino from the three-point line to Jackson-Davis, who would usually rise up and throw it down. TJD just couldn’t get off the floor like he typically does.
Hopefully, with four days of rest, Jackson-Davis is healthy and ready to go head-to-head with Armando Bacot and the tough Tar Heels on Wednesday night in Bloomington.
