#2. Jalen Hood-Schifino shows out with 15+ points and 7+ assists in his first collegiate game

If you tuned into any of the two exhibition matchups against Marian University or Saint Francis (IN), you would know that this incoming freshman, Jalen Hood-Schifino, is the real deal. From behind-the-back moves to confident shooting, Hood-Schifino proved that he belongs on the court and looks like a guy that’s been playing college hoops for a couple of seasons now.

In his last exhibition game, Hood-Schifino recorded 15 points, five assists, one block, one steal, and just one turnover in 22 minutes as a starter. He played with almost every rotation player in the game and showed that he’s one of the best freshmen from this 2022 class.

Trending. Hood-Schifino will be the Hoosiers MVP. light

It’s going to be exciting to see Hood-Schifino match up with Division I players, and seniors from the Morehead State team, and see how he performs under some lights and real pressure. No doubt in my mind he proves his worth early on in the game.

Hood-Schifino ends this game with at least 15 points and seven assists, the second-leading scorer behind Trayce Jackson-Davis. Hood-Schifino + Jackson-Davis are going to be a problem for teams this season.
