#1. Jalen Hood-Schifino is unreal
An Indiana basketball freshman hasn’t had this much excitement and buzz surrounding him since Romeo Langford in 2018-19. We all remember how that turned out…
Jalen Hood-Schifino showed why he has so much excitement around him this upcoming season with confident jump shots and behind-the-back finishes at the rim. Hood-Schifino totaled 15 points, five assists, one block, and one steal along with just one turnover in 22 minutes played.
Should be plenty of early buzz, interest in Jalen Hood-Schifino. Ran Montverde's offense and now will play-make for Indiana at 6-6, 213lbs. Plays with some flash/flair that highlights passing IQ and feel. Improving shooter with a package of touch shots. Can be plus defender. pic.twitter.com/NG9Vls7gEi

Leading this offense is going to be the biggest responsibility that Hood-Schifino takes on this season, as he has a realistic shot to make a case for an All-Big Ten team and even beyond that if he plays at this high of a level once the season begins.
Am I getting really excited for the upcoming season? Yes. Is Hood-Schifino going to be one of the best freshmen to ever play in an Indiana basketball uniform? We shall see.
