Last game: 29-7 win vs. Michigan State
Next game: Nov. 5 @ Rutgers

On the field, Blake Corum and the Wolverines dominated Michigan State after the first quarter, winning the game 29-7. Corum continued his Heisman season with 33 carries for 177 yards and two total touchdowns, now ranking second in Division I in rushing touchdowns (14) and fourth in rushing yards (1,078).

After downing their rivals on Saturday, the Wolverines had a very unfortunate interaction with Michigan State in the tunnel. Jaeden McBurrows and Gemon Green were being ganged up on by multiple different Michigan State football players which ended up causing injuries for both players and suspensions for the Spartan football players involved in the attack.

Now the Wolverines will attempt to turn the focus away from their rivals and the events after the game and onto their next opponent, Rutgers this Saturday. Michigan has won seven of the eight matchups against the Scarlet Knights since 2014 and has won by an average margin of 41.0 points per game when the Wolverines are ranked in the top 25.
