Big Ten Power Rankings: Hoosiers close to last after Week 9
Last game: 44-31 loss vs. #2 Ohio State
Next game: Nov. 5 @ Indiana
This Penn State football team battled with one of the best teams in college football on Saturday and did not go down without a fight at home. At halftime, the Nittany Lions led No. 2 Ohio State, 14-13, with all the momentum leaning towards Penn State and their defense. Unfortunately for the Nittany Lions, the Buckeyes scored four touchdowns in the fourth quarter alone.
Sean Clifford and Parker Washington paired up for a very impressive game for this Penn State offense, as Clifford finished with 32 completions for 371 yards, three touchdowns, but also three interceptions. Washington had11 catches for 179 yards (16.3 per catch) and one touchdown.
The Nittany Lions will now look to take down one of the worst teams in the Big Ten, Indiana, in Week 10. Penn State has won 23 of the 25 matchups all-time against the Hoosiers, but the last time they traveled to Bloomington, Indiana shocked then-No. 8 Penn State with a 36-35 win on a two-point attempt from Michael Penix Jr. Could we see some magic happen in Bloomington?
