Last game: 27-10 win @ Rutgers
Next game: Oct. 1 vs. #4 Michigan

After a tough couple weeks to open up the season, the Hawkeyes are my biggest risers after Week 4 after its 27-10 win over Rutgers on the road to open up conference play. The offense did not really do much in this game, but the defense is ranked top in the nation in total team defense. Finishing Week 4 with two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and 3.0 sacks, this Iowa defense is one that can keep even the better offensive teams in check.

Here comes their first real test of the season, where the Hawkeyes take on the #4 ranked Michigan Wolverines in Iowa City, just a week after Michigan skated away with a victory over Maryland, 34-27. Spencer Petras and the offense needs to step up for the Hawkeyes to have a chance to stay in this game.
