Michigan’s Mike Morris hits Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa on a pass attempt during the second half at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022. /

Last game: 34-27 loss @ #4 Michigan
Next game: Oct. 1 vs. Michigan State

Maryland was quite impressive in their loss against #4-ranked Michigan in Ann Arbor on Saturday, falling short by a touchdown thanks to a touchdown and two-point conversion with less than a minute remaining. Blake Corum from Michigan will be a problem for every single team that the Wolverines go up against, so it’s no surprise that he ran for over 200 rushing yards against the Terrapins.

The health and consistent play of Taulia Tagovailoa will be the keys to success for the Terrapins this season. Tagovailoa went down with an injury on his interception in the fourth quarter of the game against Michigan, and now seems to be questionable for next week’s matchup against Michigan State. If the quarterback is healthy, Maryland shouldn’t struggle against the spiraling Spartans on Saturday.
