C – Thomas Bryant

The center position. A position that has been traditionally rich for the Hoosier’s and this team is no exception. There are only two real choices for the starting job. Cody Zeller and Thomas Bryant. This one was hard. Zeller brings a smooth and skillful approach to this team while Bryant brings an athletic, hustler approach.

Zeller had an excellent Indiana career as he and Oladipo led the Hoosiers to a plethora of success during his two years as a Hoosier. Zeller ended his sophomore season with a trophy cabinet full of NCAA and B1G honors. He ended up going fourth overall in the 2013 draft but has since turned into somewhat of a bench player for the Hornets.

Bryant also stayed two years at Indiana, however, his career was not as successful as Zeller’s. Bryant’s NBA career started a little more slowly than Zeller’s as he was drafted in the second round by the LA Lakers and was quickly buried in the depth chart.

After his rookie season, Bryant was waived by the Lakers and he signed with the Wizards. With the Wizards, Bryant’s career got a kickstart. He has averaged 11.5 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting league average from the three.

Bryant is a freak athlete and one who will pair well with Yogi Ferrell and Victor Oladipo in the backcourt. That is why he is my pick to round out an all-NBA Hoosier team.

There you have it, folks. The all-Hoosier NBA team will enter the hypothetical battle with a starting lineup of Ferrell-Oladipo-Gordon-Anunoby-Bryant. What would your all-Hoosier team look like? Let us know in the comments below or tweet us @Hoosierstofmind.
