The Indiana Football team rolled in another recruit today as two-star OL Vinny Fiacable committed to the Hoosiers.

While not as highly rated as the two latest pickups from the Hoosiers, Indiana was able to get a commitment from in-state prospect Vinny Fiacable on Monday. Fiacable will graduate from Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger in 2021 and join a still small but promising class in Bloomington.

Fiacable is the 25th rated recruit in the state of Indiana for 2021 according to 247sports. A 6’4″ and 290-pound offensive lineman, Fiacable has a lot of ability in both run and pass blocking. He still can get bigger but has good size to be a presence on the offensive line.

He was very familiar with Indiana as his dad and two brothers played for the Hoosiers in college. Just like Aaron Steinfeldt, the tight end the Hoosiers signed on Friday, Fiacable almost seemed guaranteed to go to the Hoosiers.

He did have offers from Louisville and Cincinnati among others, going to IU seemed right at home for Fiacable.

His commitment to the Hoosiers was Tom Allen’s third pickup in the last five days and continues the momentum Indiana has shown lately on the recruiting trail. The Hoosiers have stayed in the hunt or landed a lot of the best in-state talent and that is a good sign for Allen and company.
