4. The Hoosiers beat Michigan and Ohio State once this decade

Indiana holds the two longest current losing streaks against an opponent. Both of them are at 24 straight games and they are against Michigan and Ohio State. It has been a long time since the Hoosiers have beat either one of those teams and a lot of the games haven’t been close.

As good as the Hoosiers played this year they were still blown out by both the Wolverines and Buckeyes. But that doesn’t mean they haven’t come close recently.

The Hoosiers have taken the Wolverines to overtime on more than one occasion only to come up short. They have also been within one possession on other tries but haven’t been able to breakthrough.

Ohio State has been tougher, but they have still been in the game late in the second half only to see the Buckeyes go into another gear and pull out the win.

The Hoosiers, though, will catch each one of these teams in a down year or looking ahead and pull off the upset. It will be two of the biggest wins for the Hoosiers in a long time. If they can combine that with a bowl win the same year and it could be one of the greatest seasons in Hoosier history.
