4. Whop Philyor top three games

Philyor was a relative unknown coming into the season but after a four-game stretch, he proved to be one of the best receivers in the Big Ten.

Philyor had one of the best stretches of games by any receiver this year and he did it when the Hoosiers needed him most. In games against Michigan State, Rutgers, and Nebraska, he proved to be almost unstoppable.

Indiana almost pulled off the upset at Michigan State and it was mostly because of what Philyor did in East Lansing. He would haul in 14 catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. He was the best player in that game and he almost willed Hoosiers to the win.

Not to be outdone, the very next game Philyor would catch 10 balls for 182 yards. And even though he didn’t score a touchdown he was again the best player on the field.

After a down week against Maryland where he only caught two passes, he was back at it against Nebraska. With the Hoosiers looking to get their sixth win of the year, Philyor would catch 14 more passes for 178 yards.

If you take out the game against Maryland, Philyor averaged almost 13 catches and a 167 yards a game. It introduced Philyor as a force to be reckoned with. Philyor has one more year left with the Hoosiers and he could be up for even bigger things next year.
