It is the final home game for the Indiana football program in 2019 as Michigan comes to Memorial Stadium, and the Hoosiers look for a big win.

The Indiana football program is set to welcome in the Michigan Wolverines to Memorial Stadium, looking for a breakthrough win to put a cherry on top of a record breaking 2019 season.

Peyton Ramsey has proved time and time again this year just how tough and valuable he is to the Indiana program.

Sitting at 7-3, the Hoosiers are coming off of their first loss since the end of September and look to avoid their first two game losing streak of the season.

Michigan, on the other hand, is playing its best football of the season and is already looking ahead to the season finale against Ohio State.

For Shea Patterson, it will be his last time playing an Indiana team that has kept it close in every matchup. Coming off of a 384-yard and four touchdown game against in-state rival Michigan State, Patterson has now gone three games without throwing an interception, but throwing seven touchdowns in that same span.

What has been the ‘dominant’ force of the offense has been the rushing attack led by Zach Charbonnet and Hassan Haskins. Charbonnet has 589 yards on 4.8 yards per carry, with 11 touchdowns, while Haskins has added 439 yards on 5.6 yards per carry and three touchdowns. Both backs have two 100+ yard games and while Charbonnet receives most of the carries, Haskins is a terrific change of pace back as well.

With a terrific core of wide receivers, one of the best in the country, it has been a struggle at times for Patterson to find them. Ronnie Bell, Nico Collins, Tarik Black, and Donovan Peoples-Jones are all exceptional in the open field, all with over 20 receptions each. Bell, who leads the Wolverines with 36 catches for 610 yards, has yet to catch a touchdown on the season. Peoples-Jones and Nico Collins are tied for second on the roster with 25 receptions, and each have a team-high four touchdowns.

As the Indiana secondary will likely have its hands full with the wideouts, watch out for tight end Nick Eubanks. With 21 receptions for 192 yards on the season, Eubanks has all three of his touchdowns coming in the past four games, and is a huge threat in the redzone at 6-foot-5 and 256 pounds.

It will be interesting if Jim Harbaugh, who has been open about Indiana’s toughness against them, will have his team ready to play, or if they will be looking ahead to next week’s matchup against the Buckeyes.
