Jordan Geronimo’s commitment to Indiana basketball has one recruiting analyst super excited to watch him in Bloomington.

Indiana basketball secured its third commitment of the 2020 class on Monday night when just a day after his official visit, Jordan Geronimo committed to the Hoosiers. His quick recruitment emulated his rise up the rankings and he knew Indiana was the place for him.

There has been a lot of excitement around Geronimo’s play and potential. That is the key word, potential. He is still raw when it comes to his skills, but it’s his athleticism and versatility that had numerous coaches vying for a commitment from him.

It’s not only coaches, but also Rivals recruiting analyst Corey Evans, who thinks Indiana is the perfect spot for the 6-foot-6 wing.

"“Indiana solidified its wing core with Jordan Geronimo and I couldn’t be more excited to see what Archie Miller can do with him. Geronimo is just the type that is going to flourish under the watch of Miller and should be a catalyst for getting the Hoosiers back into gear.”"

From unranked, up to the No. 84 player in the 2020 class in 247Sports rankings, Geronimo headlines a top-5 Indiana class, as currently constructed.

The way Archie Miller uses his wings in multiple different scenarios is not only going to benefit Geronimo with Geronimo’s ability to play multiple positions on the offensive end, but also guard positions 1-4 on the defensive end with his 7-foot+ wingspan.

Regardless of all of the hype around Geronimo, he will have a bit of a learning curve and will need to be more consistent than he was during his AAU season. But again, his untapped potential is something you can’t pass on and it’ll be fun to see how Archie Miller uses him in his system.
