Drew Plitt (Ball State, QB)

Plitt was voted most improved player on the Ball State roster by coaches last season as he took over the starting role in the last three games of the season for the injured Riley Neal.

Neal, now at Vanderbilt, is no longer the guy, giving Plitt full reigns of the Cardinals’ offense.

In eight games of action last year, Plitt was 85-of-131 with six touchdowns along with eight interceptions. One of these interceptions came against the Hoosiers when the game was hosted at Memorial Stadium.

Plitt has a tough challenge against a talented, yet inexperienced, Hoosier defense but does have the experience of playing against them a season ago.
