Just two more weekends without college football and the Indiana football program continues to impress during the offseason.

After back-to-back identical records (5-7) for Indiana football and coach Tom Allen, the Hoosiers look to breakthrough this season and have just their third winning record since1994, and their first since 2007.

Performing well in the non-conference over the course of the last two seasons, it’s been the Big Ten that has beat up on Indiana, going just 4-14 combined.

Looking to get back to a bowl game after two straight absences, the Hoosiers will need to be able to close out some of the close games they have had in conference in order to get bowl eligible in 2019.

As they have a lot of talent coming back from last season, there is also the top-ranked recruiting class in Indiana football history about to step on campus, so high hopes and expectations are in store for Tom Allen and the Indiana roster.

Last year, five of their seven losses were two possession games, and even closer than that late in the game, and three of them were just one possession finals.

Indiana looks to build on those close calls, and turn some of those close losses into wins.

With another season almost here, let’s take a look at their schedule and give you our game-by-game predictions for weeks 1-4.
