Indiana Basketball: Romeo Langford selected to attend the NBA Combine
Former Indiana basketball shooting guard Romeo Langford has been listed as one of the prospects selected to attend the 2019 NBA Combine.
As the NBA Draft approaches, Indiana basketball guard Romeo Langford will be one of 66 players selected to attend the NBA Draft Combine.
Taking place in Chicago, the combine will run from May 15 until May 19.
Below is a list of all the participants who will attend.
Langford, a top 10 recruit in high school, has the potential to impress scouts with his athleticism and physical profile at the combine. He finished his sole season at Indiana averaging 16.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and shooting 44.8 percent from the field. He also measured in at 6-foot-6 and 215 pounds with a 6-foot-10.5 wingspan at Indiana.
After falling in some of the recent draft boards, Langford may be able to boost his draft stock with a good performance at the combine. His size and long wingspan are ideal for a modern NBA shooting guard and are sure to impress some teams. Langford is currently projected as a late lottery pick in most mock drafts.
Competing in the scrimmages with other top prospects at the combine, playing well in these will be very crucial for him in order for him to raise his draft stock.
Langford leaves the state of Indiana as one of the most decorated players to come through the state, but time will tell if everything will translate into a successful and long NBA career.
