Indiana basketball star freshman guard Romeo Langford has fallen in the newest NBC Sports NBA Draft big board.

Former Indiana basketball freshman guard Romeo Langford has fallen in some of the most recently updated 2019 NBA Draft big boards.

Currently sitting at No. 22 in NBC Sports’ newest big board, it is the lowest position Langford is projected out of any of the mock drafts or draft boards.

Falling anywhere from No. 8 to No. 17, Langford seems to be floating around the mid-to-late lottery going to a team that barely missed out on the playoffs this season.

We recently broke down his draft stock and where he ranks in many of the other mock drafts, with scouts saying,

"“I just think from an NBA perspective, he’s probably not as ready to go as maybe he was thought to be before the season.”“In a draft that gets pretty weak after the top five or six guys, I think he’s still in position to potentially be taken in the lottery…”"

Langford was the No. 4 overall recruit in the 2018 class and was thought to be as ready as any to play in the NBA, but after a freshman year that showed some inabilities to shoot a consistent percentage from long range, as well as some playmaking abilities too, Langford’s stock has fallen a bit.

With the NBA Draft combine and individual workouts approaching, Langford has the chance to bump his stock back up, but scouts around the NBA are a bit hesitant to take the New Albany native with a mid lottery selection.

The NBA Draft takes place on June 26.
