The Indiana football program continues to get off to a good start in their 2020 class, getting a commitment from a top wide receiver.

Tom Allen and the Indiana football program picked up a huge commitment from a wide receiver in the 2020 class today.

Rashawn Williams, the No. 166 ranked player in the 2020 class according to 247Sports Composite rankings, committed to the Hoosiers on social media.

From Martin Luther King high school in Detroit, Williams picked Indiana over Purdue, Syracuse, West Virginia and Cincinnati.

A speedster, Williams has great agility and footwork. Decent size, at 6-foot-2, Williams can beat defenders in the flat, deep, or even across the middle. Often times catching the ball at or behind the line of scrimmage, he turns a negative or minimal gain into 15 to 20 plus yards.

The lead recruiter for the Hoosiers, Mike Hart, continues to strike gold for Tom Allen and Indiana. He has been instrumental in many of the big time recruits the Hoosiers have landed over the last two years (Stevie Scott, Sampson James), helping him land on the top 25 recruiters list on Rivals.

With Indiana losing Nick Westbrook and Donovan Hale, two starting wide receivers, after this year, Williams will have plenty of opportunities to showcase his skills.

Williams joins offensive lineman Luke Wiginton, and and linebacker Ty Wise as the three commits so far in the Indiana 2020 recruiting class.
