Indiana Basketball: Impressive weekend leads to in-home visit with 2020 guard
By Alec Lasley
Indiana basketball stays active after a busy weekend, with a new in-home visit scheduled for Monday afternoon.
Archie Miller and the Indiana basketball program are staying busy today with two in-home visits, including one new visit scheduled fresh off of an impressive weekend at the Adidas Gauntlet.
Already scheduled to have an in-home visit with Anthony Leal, Miller will also conduct another one with AAU teammate Trey Galloway according to Mike Schumann.
While showcasing his skills at the Adidas Gauntlet this weekend in Dallas, Galloway put up four impressive performances in front of many college coaches.
On the young AAU season, Galloway is averaging over 19.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting over 65 percent from the field, per the Adidas Gauntlet website.
The Culvers Academies shooting guard has been high on the Hoosiers for a while but has still yet to receive an offer from coach Miller.
Ranked No. 208 by 247Sports Composite rankings, he currently holds offers from Butler, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Purdue, amongst others.
Recovering from a wrist injury he played through during his junior season, Galloway, who has been known for his shooting ability, struggled to find his shot and has still been inconsistent at times this spring but showed his ability over the weekend where he went 3-for-4 from deep in his weekend finale.
A 6-foot-5 guard, Galloway does just about everything right on the floor. Though he may not be great in any category, he is a very good all around player.
