Indiana Football: 2019 Recruiting Class Ranking
By Alec Lasley
Indiana football made a significant jump in the recruiting ranks this year, ranking in the top 40 in the country.
Though the Hoosiers had a relatively quiet National Signing Day on Wednesday, they still rank in the top 40 nationally.
Coming in at no. 38 according to 247Sports, finishing with 21 signees, the 2019 class is the highest in Indiana football program history.
With only Tim Weaver and Josh Sanguinetti signing yesterday, most of Indiana’s work was done in the early singing period.
Here is the full list of the Indiana recruiting class:

(Ratings according to the 247Sports Composite rankings)
Not included in the recruiting rankings is quarterback Jack Tuttle.
The former 4-star quarterback transferred to Indiana from Utah in December and is still waiting to hear back form the NCAA regarding his eligibility.
Recently though, he was named a top 30 transfer for this season by 247Sports.
This is Tom Allen’s second full recruiting class since he took over the head coaching duties at the end of 2016.
Indiana’s classes have become better each year under Allen:
2018: 48th overall / 10th Big Ten
2017: 62nd overall / 13th Big Ten
Indiana, who has gone 5-7 (2-7) in each of the last two seasons, looks to make a jump up in the Big Ten this season with some good talent to keep them there for a couple of years.
