Another day, another nomination for arguably the best women’s basketball player in Indiana history. Loyalty is a word that is often thrown around the college basketball world. Coaches come and go as they please, while players are forced to either stick around with a brand new coach, or transfer to a new school where they will be made to sit out for one season.

For Buss, loyalty has become what she is known for, as she has stuck around for all four seasons of her collegiate career, despite the opportunity to go pro.

In her four seasons at Indiana, Buss has created quite the name for herself in the IU Women’s basketball lore. If you happen to look in the record books, odds are you will see her name next to more than a few records.

Recently she broke the all-time scoring for Women’s basketball at Indiana, as well as passing 2,000 points in her career. In 24 games for the Hoosiers this season, Buss is averaging 20.4 points, 4.7 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. The Senior CLASS Award will be handed out during the 2018 NCAA Women’s Final Four® from March 30-April 1 in Columbus, Ohio.
