Three Indiana Hoosiers Earn 2025 Softball Preseason Honors

Indiana seniors Taylor Minnick, Bri Copeland and junior Avery Parker have been named top 100 players in the nation for the 2025 softball season

Indiana seniors Taylor Minnick, Bri Copeland and junior Avery Parker have been named in the D100 Preseason Top 100 Player Rankings by D1 Softball.

Bri Copeland was ranked No. 54 overall. Brianna had had a 2.88 ERA, 20 wins with 174 strikeouts. She also added eight home runs and 10 doubles, 36 RBI and had 18 stolen bases per IU Athletics

Taylor Minnick a four year starting outfielder who was All-Big Ten Second Team in 2024 was ranked No. 95. Avery Parker came in at No. 85, the two year starter at catcher had a team high 13 home runs in 2024.

Indiana will open the season with a home stand versus FIU (Feb 6-9). All roads lead to the journey to for the Women's College World Series Championship that will take place from May 29 to June 6 in Oklahoma City, OK.
