These Indiana players landed free-agent deals with NFL teams after 2025 NFL Draft

A few former Indiana Hoosiers players get their shots at winning an NFL job as an UDFA.

Indiana finished the 2025 NFL Draft with two players selected, but a handful of others will had a chance to sign with NFL teams as undrafted free agents following this past weekends draft.

The following Hoosier players were selected into the NFL during the seven rounds of the draft. Defensive tackle CJ West and quarterback Kurtis Rourke were both taken by the San Francisco 49ers. West went in the 4th round as the 113th overall pick, while Rourke was selected in the 7th round as the 227th overall pick.

Defensive lineman James Carpenter also signed as a priority free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars immediately after the NFL Draft concluded.

Former Indiana linebacker Jailin Walker has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Walker who transferred from James Madison Univ. was second among Hoosiers with 72 tackles, he also had nine tackles for loss to go along with two sacks and two interceptions in 2024.

At James Madison under Curt Cignetti he appeared in 32 games with 20 starts over three seasons totaling 139 tackles, 9.5 TFL, 3.5 sacks and 5 forced fumbles.

Former Indiana tight end Zach Horton has signed with the Detroit Lions.

The 6-foot-4, 252-pound Horton started his first three college seasons at James Madison, where he was a first-team All-Sun Belt selection in 2023, before following Curt Cignetti and his staff to Indiana in 2024. Horton had 21 catches for 189 yards and four touchdowns and was named to the All-Big Ten Honorable Mention team. He will be used as a fullback or H-Back in his role with the Lions in camp.

Wide receiver Ke'Shawn Williams has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers

The former Indiana Hoosiers spent one season at IU, where he had 39 catches for 448 yards and five touchdowns. Williams was also used as a punt return specialist. Before playing at Indiana, Williams spent three seasons at Wake Forest, primarily as a kick returner and "gadget" weapon on offense.

Wide receiver Myles Price signed with the Minnesota Vikings

Myles Prices is a 5-foot-9, 185-pound slot receiver who will be used in the kick return game, similar to his former teammate Ke'Shawn Williams. The former Texas Tech transfer was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selections at both receiver and return specialist. Price had 38 catches for 488 yards and three touchdowns, to go along with 23 punt returns for 289 yards.

Former Wisconsin and Indiana offensive lineman Trey Wedig signed with the Los Angeles Rams

Trey Wedig played four seasons at Wisconsin before transferring to Indiana for his final college season. Wedig is one of the only prospects on offensive line that has started or played meaningful snaps at all five positions on the offensive line but projects as a guard at the NFL level.

Wedig's experience playing both tackle and guard could help him earn a role as a swing lineman in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams.
