ABOVE MOREN

Geno Auriemma, Connecticut | 39 Seasons x 1213-162 Record at UCONN/All-Time (.882)

Auriemma is hands down the greatest coach in the history of NCAA women's basketball. The product of Italy has led the Huskies to a whopping 11 championships during his tenure, and represents everything that a basketball coach should strive to become at any level.

Dawn Staley, South Carolina | 16 Seasons x 440-106 Record at USC (.806) | 612-186 Record All-Time (.767)

Since Dawn Staley took over control of the Gamecocks, the program has won 3 championships (including 2 in the past 3 seasons). Fresh off of her latest title last season, Staley is quickly elevating her status to Auriemma's level.

Kim Mulkey, LSU | 3 Seasons x 91-14 Record at LSU (.867) | 723-118 Record All-Time (.860)

Mulkey has now led 2 programs to a championship, with 3 title trophies to show for her time at Baylor and 1 from the 2022-2023 season to show for her young tenure at LSU. She certainly has her fair share of haters, but her fiery spirit is built to deflect criticism.

Vic Schaefer, Texas | 4 Seasons x 109-32 Record at Texas (.773) | 410-204 Record All-Time (.668)

While Schaefer has yet to bring home his first championship hardware as a head coach, he has won 1 NCAA title as an assistant coach and has an extensive amount of experience to support his legitimacy. He has established a culture of winning since taking over the Longhorns a few seasons ago, and that program's trajectory is only trending upwards.

Wes Moore, North Carolina State | 11 Seasons x 273-88 Record at NC State (.756) | 831-257 Record All-Time (.764)

Similar to Schaefer, the next time that Wes Moore leads his team to an NCAA championship will be his first as a head coach. Also like Schaefer, Moore has built a seemingly everlasting track record of excellence anywhere he goes. He has received an abundance of accolades and acknowledgments throughout his head coaching career, and it would not be surprising if there are more recognitions coming in his foreseeable future.
