5. Will Rogers: Washington
Will Rogers would likely still be the starting quarterback at Mississippi State if former head coach Zach Arnett had not decided to move away from the Air Raid and completely change the offense. Neither Arnett nor Rogers are in Starkville now. Rogers has moved on to Seattle and the Washington Huskies under new head coach Jedd Fisch. While he won't have Odunze, Polk, and McMillan to throw the football to, Fisch and offensive coordinator Brennan Carroll's scheme fits what Rogers does well. Expect Rogers to get the ball out quickly and in rhythm.
4. Miller Moss: USC
It may seem hypocritical to have USC quarterback Miller Moss so highly-rated after just one game. However, the LA native was MVP, throwing for 372 yards and six touchdowns. This place in the rankings could be more vibes than anything else. People didn't give USC much of a shot in the game without Caleb Williams, and Moss looked prepared and in command of the offense. He turned so many heads, USC didn't aggressively pursue any quarterback in the portal. As Roddy Burns told Cole Trickle in Days of Thunder, "Now lets see how you do in a crowd."
