Way Too Early Big Ten Quarterback Rankings
By Dante Pryor
9. Dylan Raiola
There hasn't been this much hoopla about a quarterback in Lincoln for a long time. Head coach Matt Rhule was anointed and appointed Dylan Raiola as the starter this fall. Raiola has talent; everyone wanted him, and Georgia had him for a while. However, it's a lot of pressure to ask a true freshman to be the savior of a program -- and state, for that matter. Everyone can't do what Trevor Lawrence did at Clemson. Time will tell if Raiola can live up to being everything Nebraska needs for him to be.
8. Alex Orji
Much like Aidan Chiles and Dylan Raiola, Michigan quarterback Alex Orji is a first-year starter. While new head coach Sherrone Moore said the quarterback competition is "super competitive," it's hard to see anyone other than Orji starting. He gives the Wolverines a plus element in the running game and an NFL-caliber arm. It is wait-and-see if he can lead a program that just won a National Championship.
