Way Too Early Big Ten Quarterback Rankings
By Dante Pryor
15. Tyler Van Dyke
As we continue the topic of injured quarterbacks at new places, Wisconsin is casting its lot with a quarterback who was injured last season. Miami transfer Tyler Van Dyke got hurt amid a disastrous season for Miami. Head coach Luke Fickell hopes that Van Dyke can stay healthy and play better than he did last season. If Van Dyke gets hurt or plays poorly, there isn't much behind him on the depth chart.
14. Billy Edwards, Jr./MJ Morris: Maryland
Maryland is one of the schools in this ranking, and we aren't sure who is starting at quarterback. Billy Edwards was not impressive in his start against Auburn in the Music City Bowl. That could be why Mike Locksley and the staff signed North Carolina State transfer MJ Morris. There could be a reason the Wolfpack didn't fight to keep him in Raleigh. No matter the reason, this competition could go well into the summer and fall.
