Indiana had its spring game tonight. Some players made a case to move up the depth chart, while others struggled to make plays consistently.

Quarterback Tayven Jackson completed his first eight passes and led the Hoosiers on its first offensive scoring drive. He was sharp most of his drives and knew where the ball was supposed to go. He did throw an interception, but that was more about the play Old Dominion transfer Terry Jones, Jr.

Andison Coby

Redshirt senior wide receiver Andison Coby had the first explosive play of the night with a 30 yard reception, and he caught the game-winning pass for the offense. Coby demonstrated an ability to separate, show straight line speed, and win on contested catches. His performance tonight is proof of Indiana's deep receiver room.

Aiden Fisher

In addition to his John Cena style motivational speech during the game, Fisher was everywhere defensively. The defense allowed some big plays, but they were not out of position most of the night. That was due to Fisher getting the defense in the right position. He did not miss any tackles, and Indiana's run fits were outstanding all night.

Fisher showed great instincts for the football against the run and in pass coverage. While the defense wasn't great, Fisher's play covered some misses by the defensive line and secondary.
