Through five weeks of the college football season, there are 11 undefeated teams in the latest Associated Press top 25 poll now that UNLV went down to Syracuse Friday night.

The unbeaten teams in the FBS are: Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, Tennessee, Oregon, Penn State, Miami (FL), Missouri, Iowa State, BYU and the Indiana Hoosiers.

Of course it's early in the season so it's hard to tell the contenders from pretenders but as we dive into confrence play we will see a lot of seperation in October. Who will rise to the top in the next five weeks and could IU be 9-0 by the end of the month.

Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt thinks so he named the Indiana Hoosiers as a team that has "staying power" after their strong start.

"This Indiana team, they've got some staying power," Klatt said on "The Joel Klatt Show." "And there's a chance that we're going to have an opportunity with Big Noon to go cover an Indiana game and I'm pretty fired up for it."
