Ranking Indiana's Five Championship Seasons.

Okay, so hear me out. I would rank this as the best of Bobby Knight's three National Championship winning teams. However, going undefeated closes the argument. That said, the '81 National Championship team had arguably the most dominant run of any National Championship team.
What made this Indiana team so good was their ability to defend. The Hoosiers finished 8th in scoring defense that year. Led by future Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas, they defended all three levels well. Their run in the NCAA tournament was one of the most dominant runs in NCAA history. In fact, their run was similar to UConn's run this year.
The Hoosiers defeated their opponents by an average of 22.6 points in the 1981 NCAA tournament, holding three of those opponents to 50 points or fewer.
