Peyton Ramsey: Quarterback

They say that hindsight is 20/20. This might be a hot take considering what happened in the NFL Draft this year, but there was a legitimate argument that the Hoosiers let the wrong quarterback transfer in 2019. Penix suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2019, and Ramsey stepped in and lead the Hoosiers to a bowl game.

Ramsey was told that Penix was the guy despite how well he played down the stretch in 2019. Penix then had another season-ending injury in 2020. Indiana football didn't have Ramsey, and the quarterback play suffered.

Ramsey, on the other hand, found success at Northwestern. He led the Wildcats in passing and was second in rushing on their way to a Citrus Bowl win against Auburn. Asking what might have been if Ramsey plays in 2020 instead of Penix.
