Indiana Football: Some of the most notable NFL Draft Picks in school history.

Trent Green: 1993
Indiana legendary quarterback Trent Green is proof that it's not always where you start. An eighth-round draft pick by the San Diego Chargers in 1993, Green did not see the field. It wasn't until he played in the CFL for the BC Lions. After leaving Canada, Green joined the Washington Commanders.
Green had a breakout season, throwing for over 3,000 yards and 23 touchdowns. It was his relationship with former head coach Dick Vermeil that was the catalyst for his career resurgence. Vermeil coached Green in St. Louis and Kansas City.
Green had his best NFL seasons in Kansas City with Vermeil as head coach. His best season came in 2003 when he was a head coach under Vermeil when he led the Chiefs to a 13-3 record. Green made two Pro Bowls and was part of St. Louis' 1999-00 Super Bowl-winning team.
