247Sports national recruiting analyst Travis Branham entered a crystal ball prediction for Bellarmine forward/center Langdon Hatton. According to that Crystal Ball, his destination is Bloomington, Indiana. The 6-foot-10, 240-pound big man has one year of eligibility wherever he goes.

Hatton started all 31 games, averaging 10.5 points and 7.1 rebounds for the Knights last season. He shot 48 percent from the field, 33 percent from the three-point line, and 67.5 percent from the free-throw line. Hatton began his career at the College of William and Mary before transferring to Bellarmine.

How he fits

It's no secret that head coach Mike Woodson and the Indiana coaching staff have wanted to add viable talent depth to the roster this offseason. The Hoosiers have added center Oumar Ballo from Arizona to play beside Malik Reneau and Mackenzie Mgbako.

With Kaleb Banks, Payton Sparks, and Anthony Walker leaving via the transfer portal and out of eligibility, Hatton gives the Hoosiers a viable big man off the bench. He's also a versatile frontcourt player who can play the five and shoot the 3-pointer.

Woodson wants depth to play a first and second unit. Hatton understands he'll be a role player for the Hoosiers. He brings leadership and a veteran presence to the roster.
