No. 10-7

. . . 490. Ohio State. 10. 2-4 (Big Ten). . . 12-5

After a hot start to the season, the Buckeyes find themselves amid a three-game losing streak. One of the reasons for the losing streak is their inability to score the basketball. Ohio State's leading scorer, Bruce Thornton, is shooting 34.4 percent from the field and 16.2 percent from three. Ohio State has not scored more than 65 points in either of those games.

. 3-3 (Big Ten). . Minnesota. . . 12-5. . 9. 487

There's an old saying about letting a team beat you twice. After their disappointing 74-62 loss to Indiana, the Gophers looked as flat as stale beer on both ends of the floor. Outside of Dawson Garcia and Joshua Ola-Joseph, the starters were virtually ineffective. The Gophers are better, but they need more from its first five to make a move in the conference.

11-6. 3-3 (Big Ten). 439. . . . Maryland. . . 8

The Terrapins were picked to finish third in the Big Ten preseason polls by many, and they have yet to live up to it. To say they've been inconsistent is an understatement. The Terps picked up a nice road win against Illinois, only to lose on the road to Northwestern. Head coach Kevin Willard and the Terrapins might be on the outside looking in if they can't find more consistent play.

. . 13-3. 3-3 (Big Ten). . . Nebraska. 488. . 7

Nebraska on the road and Nebraska at home are not the same team. With the crowd in Lincoln behind them, the 'Huskers defeated Indiana and #2 Purdue. Away from Lincoln, Nebraska lost to Iowa and Rutgers. Are they as good as the team that defeated the Boilermakers and Hoosiers? Are they as bad as the team that lost to Rutgers? The answer might be in the middle, which is exactly where they are.
