Spring Football and Spring Sports
The Curt Cignetti era of Indiana football is officially underway in Bloomington. The Hoosiers held their first practice last Thursday as Cignetti and his staff install their offense, defense, and culture. The pace and efficiency of the practices are a harbinger of what this new staff wants to do philosophically.
Several position battles begin this spring, none more important than quarterback. Tayven Jackson and Broc Lowery stayed after Tom Allen's departure, while Alex Cherry committed to the program out of high school and Kurtis Rourke transferred from Ohio. Indiana's spring game is scheduled for April 18th.
Spring Sports Whip Around

- Softball: After a solid start, the Hoosiers have lost five in a row. They were swept by Penn State over the weekend. They take on Louisville on Tuesday on the road.
- Swimming and Diving: After winning the Big Ten Championship, the women placed seventh at Nationals and the men are gearing up for Nationals.
- Track and Field: After a solid indoor season, track and field starts at the Raleigh Relays on the campus of North Carolina State University on Thursday.
