A lot is going on around the campus of Indiana University. Spring sports are in full gear: Indiana Women's basketball is playing for a spot in the Sweet 16, Spring Football has begun, and men's basketball is busy recruiting high schools and the transfer portal. Here are some news and notes for the week:

Woodson and Recruiting:

Indiana men's basketball coach Mike Woodson and his staff look to rebuild the roster for next season. While super seniors Anthony Leal and Trey Galloway have committed to returning to Indiana, Xavier Johnson, and Anthony Walker are out of eligibility. CJ Gunn, Peyton Sparks, and Kaleb Banks are in the transfer portal.

Kel'el Ware and Mackenzie Mgbako both could enter the NBA Draft. However, they have until June 16th to withdraw their names from the draft and return to school. It is likely both players will do their due diligence about their draft status and make their decision based on the information they receive.

Forward Malik Reneau decided to return to Bloomington instead of going into the transfer portal. While Liam McNeely did officially decommit, the Monte Verde High School product has not officially signed anywhere. Technically, he's still on the board. In addition to McNeely, there are three other high school players still on the board for IU.

Bryson Booth, Khani Tucker, and William Jobe are still on the board for Indiana from the high school ranks. Woodson and his staff are also looking at the transfer portal. Marcus Foster (Furman), Frankie Fidler (Nebraska-Omaha), and Dakota Leffew (Mount S.t Mary's) are among the players the Hoosier coaching staff have contacted.

Indiana's roster needs reconstruction and the staff is putting in work.
