If you are from the state of Indiana, there is a strong likelihood that you love the game of basketball. This is a state with a deep tradition of love tied to the sport, and the state of basketball in the state of Indiana may be about to take the entire world by storm.

On the collegiate side of the spectrum, Indiana University is all caps BACK. Teri Moren and the women's squad have been perennial contenders over the course of the past few seasons, and look poised for yet another deep run given such a stacked roster. While the same cannot be said of the men's team in terms of the past few seasons, Mike Woodson has more than redeemed himself for such a treacherous 2023-2024 campaign by absolutely killing the offseason and building what resembles a versatile group who seem destined to make some noise next season on paper.

At the professional level, former Hoosier legend Grace Berger is preparing for tonight's inaugural preseason game of her sophomore year in which she will more than likely serve as the primary backup to incoming icon Caitlin Clark on a rapidly rising Indiana Fever team. And then you have the Indiana Pacers who just took care of business against the (supremely depleted) Milwaukee Bucks in a playoff series win which stamped the Pacers validation of legitimacy.

And did anyone see the things that our guy OG Anunoby was doing in the New York Knicks' playoff series win over Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers?

Man oh man are these good times for basketball fans in the Hoosiers state or what? With so much percolation brewing from so many different sources, it is only a matter of time before Indiana regains it's reputation as the true mecca of basketball.
