Attrition is expected anytime a coach is fired. That was no different at Indiana. Some key players who transferred when Tom Allen was fired included quarterback Brendan Sorsby and wide receiver/running back Jaylin Lucas. New head coach Curt Cignetti got back to work and brought in over 20 new transfers to campus.

With so many transfers coming on campus, it was inevitable that players would enter the portal. Specifically, there would be players transferring after spring. These four players did just that.

Anthony Miller, Jr. announced his transfer intentions ahead of the spring game, while Darryl Minor, Will Larkins, and Tyler Jefferies entered the portal soon after the game.

Miller and Larkins are redshirt freshmen, Minor is a fifth-year senior, and Jefferies is a sophomore. Miller is the only one of the four transfers who saw any action last season, primarily on special teams. Larkins and Minor did see some action during the spring game. Minor played inside linebacker, and Larkins played center.

Minor transferred to Indiana to join his brother Kobee, who is still on the roster. Players have until April 30 to enter their names into the transfer portal.
