Big Ten Men's Basketball Power Rankings: There's a battle for the top four seeds in the Big Ten Tournament.

#2 Purdue and #13 Illinois seem locked into the top two seeds. However, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Nebraska all have ten wins. Michigan State is within one game and playing their best basketball of the season.

No. 3-1

No. 3 Northwestern Wildcats (19-8, 10-6)

It cannot be understated the job that Chris Collins has done in Evanston. The Wildcats are on the path to an NCAA Tournament berth. They might not win the Big Ten Tournament, but you are going to have to beat them. Northwestern doesn't beat themselves. They don't foul, turn the ball over, or take bad shots.

No. 2 #13 Illinois Fighting Illini (20-7, 11-5)

Illinois has a pivotal stretch to end the season. The Illini can either solidify the second seed and the double bye or lose that spot and drop down to four or lower. They have to play Wisconsin, Minnesota, Purdue, and Iowa. Illinois has to take care of business to show they are one of the elite in the Big Ten.

No. 1 #2 Purdue Boilermakers (25-3, 14-3)

Purdue followed the upset loss against Ohio State with two wins against two of the worst teams in the conference, Rutgers and Michigan. The Boilermakers are in prime position in the conference. They should have the top seed locked up and want to win the conference tournament to have an argument for the top overall seed in the NCAA tournament.
