4. Team Breaks Single Season 3-Pointers Made Record AGAIN

Just last season, this team broke the program's all-time record for made 3-pointers in a season. With Mackenzie Holmes anchoring the offense down low, it was more or less pick your poison for defenses. With Holmes no longer on the court, this is going to be an extremely perimeter-oriented attack that will look to get out and run whenever possible.

The famous "Run-N-Gun" style should supply an increase in attempts from deep, and with the aforementioned quartet of gunners (plus the improved shooting stroke of Lexus Bargesser) getting out in transition it is not difficult to envision the team sustaining it's place among the top 3-point shooting teams in the NCAA. Furthermore, do not sleep on the uprising of newcomer Karoline Striplin as a legitimate stretch big. She showed promising shooting touch at Tennessee, and should feel even more comfortable letting them fly in such a green light environment.

5. Team Finishes Top 2 in B1G Standings

Year after year, it seems like this team continuously finds itself overlooked by the national media. Most recently, it was On3's perennial preseason B1G team rankings discrediting Indiana's resurgence under Moren. USC is home to the nation's top overall player and brought in a TON of major talent this offseason, and there will be a ton of high caliber clubs chomping at the bit beneath them.

With all due respect to the UCLA's and Ohio State's and Maryland's and Iowa's of the B1G world, Indiana is the team with the blend of continuity and added dynamism to make the strongest push for the Trojans' spot at the top of the ladder.

6. Team Advances to AT LEAST Elite Eight in 2025 NCAA Tournament

The Hoosiers have been RIGHT THERE in the red zone of their ultimate dreams throughout the course of the past few seasons, and it took an absolute dog fight for eventual 2023-2024 NCAA champ South Carolina to escape IU last year.

You are ALWAYS going to have a shot if Teri Moren is the one calling the shots. It feels like this particular roster has enough offensive ammo and defensive grit to overcome the hurdles that will stand between them and their aspirations. This team is going to get up and down the floor swiftly, and we all know that speed kills.
