His final stats in his senior season were 6-0 with a 0.76 ERA, striking out 61 batters in 36 2/3 innings of work, per Kyle Sokeland of the Evansville Courier & Press. The 6-foot-3 right-hander was the Gatorade High School Player of the Year in Indiana. He is considered a mid-rotation starter with a plus fastball and slider who is one of the more athletic pitchers drafted, while he also played quarterback in high school.
The next step for Fisher is choosing professional or college baseball. He could sign with the Phillies or sign to Indiana University. The deadline for any player to sign a contract, unless they've exhausted their collegiate eligibility, is July 30. The slot value for the 221st overall pick is $257.70k– the actual signing bonus could be higher or lower depending on negotiations and Philadelphia's entire bonus pool according to Yahoo Sports
