Former Indiana Hoosiers slugger and Philadelphia Philles designated hitter, Kyle Schwarber has been ranked among the Top 100 players in all of baseball again ahead of the 2025 season.

Schwarber is considered among the Top 100 players in baseball and his official ranking is No. 65 overall according to MLB.com's latest rankings.

The fan favorite Schwarber dropped a few spots from his 2024 ranking which had him at No. 57 overall.

Schwarber has been getting reps both in left field and at first base this spring training ,so he is poised to have another solid season and could even be an all-star in 2025.

Schwarber has been one of the game’s elite power hitters the past few years. The former Hoosier has hit 131 home runs with 302 RBIs in three seasons with the Phillies, whosigned him to a four-year, $79 million contract before the 2022 season.

Here is what he said about learning a new position and playing out in the field again. "It’s a challenge,”Schwarber told PhilliesNation's Ty Daubert. “It’s a learning curve. It would be the easy thing to just come here, pick up a bat and try to keep swinging, but you can learn something new."

And about his new contract he's looking for, well both sides haven't came to a full agreement yet but he wants to be a Philly for the rest of his career.

“If things work out here, that would be awesome,"Schwarber told Matt Gelb of The Athletic. "But if it doesn’t, it’s always nice to have that in your back pocket. Even though I play DH for this team, there is still a part of me that always wants to be in the field... You just kind of miss that aspect of the game sometimes."

Schwarber was a two-time first-team All-American at Indiana. A .341 hitter in college, he ranks among the top 10 in school history in home runs (40), hits (238), runs (182) and slugging percentage (.607). He also helped lead the Hoosiers to their most recent trip to the College World Series in 2013.

The following year, he became the baseball program’s highest-drafted player when the Cubs chose him with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2014 Draft.
