Former Ohio State offensive tackle Zen Michalski is transferring to Indiana, according to multiple reports.
Michalski was a backup for most of his four seasons with the Buckeyes, making his only career start this season against Nebraska. The offensive lineman suffered an injury in the fourth quarter of that game sidelined him for the rest of the regular season.
Michalski was a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports rankings. He was ranked the number 21 offensive tackle, the number 208 overall player, and ranked as the number No. 2 prospect in the state of Indiana.
I would be very surprised if he ended up being a starter for Indiana next season. They do lose a ton of guys, but I can't imagine him being the right tackle. Carter Smith is already entrenched on the other side for Indiana. Michalski can provide some depth as a senior, though.
Michalski has one season of eligibility remaining.
