The Indiana Hoosiers will begin their quest to secure their spot in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 13, as they begin to play in the Big Ten Tournament. The Hoosiers have had great parts of the season and parts of the season they certainly would wish to forget. However, it will al come down to this as they sit on the line of making and missing March Madness.

The Hoosiers will have a tough first-round matchup as they will take on the Oregon Ducks, a team they fell to just last week. That game was so close it seemed like it would truly come down to the wire of which team would win, but late, Indiana's offense went ice cold, and Oregon took advantage of it. The Ducks secured a nine-point win in a game that neither team really had more than a one or two-possession lead throughout.

Indiana will have to learn a lot from that game and quickly if they want a chance at taking down a Ducks team that is skilled and can score a lot. Foul trouble will be big in this one, especially with Oumar Ballo fighting with Oregon's big man, Nate Bittle. The Hoosiers have a shot, but they can only focus on this game, adn not who their next opponent would be, Michigan State.
