Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was recently named the 2024 Eddie George PFWA Good Guy Award, which is presented to a Titans player ever season. It's voted on by local media to recognize one player who is most helpful and available to the media over the course of an entire NFL season.

The former Indiana Hoosier, Westbrook-Ikhine had by far his best season in his five year career with the TItans in 2024.

NWI caught four of his seven targets for 50 yards in a 23-14 loss to the Texans in Week 18 but for the season Westbrook-Ikhine had 32 catches for 497 yards, 15.5 yards per catch and a 9 touchdowns which was top 10 in the NFL.

Westbrook will become a free agent this off-season and will likely be seeing a significant jump from the figures of his last two contracts — a one-year, $1.26 million deal in 2023 and a one-year, $2 million deal in 2024.

“It is exciting,” Westbrook-Ikhine said. “I’m going to probably let that excitement come when it needs to. Right now, just going to enjoy the time with family, get some rest and recovery ... Once contract talks come around, I’ll deal with it then. But I’m very happy and excited for the place I’m in.

The Titans recently fired their GM Ran Carthon and finished 3-14 this season which was the worst record in the NFL as they will be picking No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Titans were 9-25 in Carthon’s two seasons, President of football operations Chad Brinker will head up the search for a new general manager which will hopefully lead NWI to a new long term deal, if not he will be a top priorty free agent this off-season.
