Indiana Hoosier junior wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. has been added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced on Wednesday, presented to college football’s most outstanding FBS receiver at any position.
Cooper is among 11 additions to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List, marking the first in-season addition of receivers since announcing its initial watch list on August 6th.

Through five weeks on Indiana's undefeated season, Cooper Jr has 13 receptions for 299 yards and 4 touchdowns, with an average of 23.0 yards per catch.
Cooper Jr. received Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance on Sept. 12 against Indiana State University. In his best game of the season Cooper Jr had 10 catches for 207 yards and four touchdowns in a 73-0 victory over Indiana State.
In his three seasons with the Hoosiers the Indianapolis native has 65 catches for 1,238 yards and 16 touchdowns.
The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS receiver. Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, tight end, slot back, and running back) who catches a pass is eligible for the award. As such, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football's outstanding receiver.
Semifinalists, finalists, and the eventual recipient of the Biletnikoff Award are selected by a distinguished committee of more than 600 college football journalists, commentators, announcers, former winners, and other notable receivers.
Recently, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation opened the 2025 FanVote. Every fan may vote once daily on the Biletnikoff Award FanVote page.
The award is named for Fred Biletnikoff, a member of the pro and college football halls of fame, who was a consensus 1st-team All-America receiver at Florida State University and an All-Pro receiver for the Oakland Raiders. He caught 589 passes for 8,974 yards and 76 touchdowns in his 14-year Raiders career from 1965 through 1978. Biletnikoff was the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XI.
The No. 8 Indiana Hoosiers are set to square off against the No. 2 Oregon Ducks on Oct. 11, inside Autzen Stadium on CBS at 3:30pm E.T.
