Indiana wide receiver E.J Williams is no longer with the program, leaving the Hoosiers this morning with an announcement on social media.

The former Clemson Tiger transfer, has dealt with multiple injuries since arriving. He had just two catches for 49 yards this season in four appearances. Williams caught 23 passes for 281 yards for the Hoosiers in 8 games.

Curt Cignetti had this to say bout Williams earlier this season :

"Got to get him on the field and keep him on the field,” Cignetti said. “That's the biggest thing, the best ability is availability. You got to stay on the field and that's been his biggest nemesis.” said Cignetti

The NCAA now allows football student-athletes to compete in up to four games and still maintain their redshirt eligibility. Williams a redshirt senior joins DJ Warnell, Donaven McCulley, Nahji Logan, Joshua Rudolph, Tyrik McDaniel, Ebon Person, Neil Campbell and Aaron Stewart as players that have left the Indiana program since fall camp.
