The Indiana Hoosiers women's basketball team defeated the Iowa Hawkeyes 74-67 in a road game in Iowa City, Iowa to move on to a 12-4 overall record.

It's a revenge game in a sort of way as the men's hoops team lost in the same building Carver-Hawkeye Arena last night 80-65.

Indiana outscored the Hawkeyes in each of the first three quarters, before Iowa made a late surge near the end of the game to win the final quarter. Indiana shot 42 percent from beyond the arc and out rebounded Indiana by 15.

The Hoosiers were lead by in points by Yarden Garzon (21 points), Chloe Moore-McNeil (18) and Sydney Parrish with (15). Taylor McCabe led Iowa with 15 points, while Addi O'Grady was second in scoring with 11 for all Hawkeyes in scoring.

Teri Moren's squad earned their third top 25 win this season beating No. 24 Stanford and No. 18 Baylor in non-conference action.

Indiana held Iowa’s leading scorers Lucy Olson (17.0 points per game) and Hannah Stuelke (13.3 points per game) to just two points in the half on a combined 1 of 6 shooting.

Indiana's next opponent will be on Jan. 16th as they take on the Illinois Fighting Illini at home. Illinois is 12-4 overall with a 2-3 record in conference play.
