The Indiana Hoosiers will meet up with the South Carolina Gamecocks for the second year in a row in the NCAA WBB Tournament. This time they meet up as a 9-seed taking on the 1-seed in the second round instead of in the Sweet 16 like last year.
Indiana will have their hands full with everything South Carolina has to throw at them, but this is a different South Carolina team this year, they don't look quite as unstoppable as they have in the past. The Gamecocks came into the tournament with three losses, all to top-ranked opponents.
This probably won't be the landslide game everyone is expecting for South Carolina. If Indiana can score 10 or more three-pointers, they're 9-0 on the season when they accomplish that feat. If they can score 70+ points, they are 18-1 on the season when they accomplish that feat as well, so hit one of those two marks, and they should give themselves a fighting chance.

No. 9 Indiana vs. No 1 South Carolina NCAA Tournament Round 2 prediction
This is going to be a tough one for Indiana, and by the looks of it, the oddsmakers think South Carolina will have this one in the bag, but let's not forget how Indiana went toe-to-toe with USC about two weeks ago in the Big Ten Tournament and was able to hold their own.
Indiana was also able to go toe-to-toe against South Carolina last year in the Sweet 16, and while both of these teams are different this season, this is still a very interesting matchup to watch out for in the second round.
Indiana is going to be on top of their offensive game in order to have their best chance at upsetting South Carolina; they also need to be able to handle the Gamecocks's bigs in the paint. It seems like South Carolina might just have a little more on Indiana, but I think the Hoosiers will go down with a big fight and sadly lose it in a close one.
