McCallie School Chattanooga (TN) four-star cornerback Chaston Smith was offered by Indiana back before the start of the 2024-25 season and is reportedly nearing a final decision on his school of choice soon.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound junior is ranked as a top national prospect in the 2026 class by 247Sports. Smith per 247Sports is ranked as the No. 166 overall player in the 2026 class, No. 14 cornerback and 4th in the state of Tennessee.
Smith holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Indiana, LSU, Oregon, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Michigan South Carolina, Texas A&M, Notre Dame and USC among other schools.
The odds on favorite currently to land the Tennessee native is Ole Miss but the Hoosiers, Notre Dame and Texas A&M have also been heavily in the mix of late making a push for the star defensive back.
